West Beach Adventure Australia

Date & Time: Open everyday during the school holidays
Location: 4 Hamra Avenue, West Beach

West Beach Adventure is an absolute must do when visiting South Australia. Featuring a combination of adrenaline oriented outdoor activities to challenge the whole family. Get a workout on the Mega Climb, the largest aerial adventure course in Australia, experience a leap of faith on a 20m vertical drop or scare yourself senseless on our 3 person Giant Swing.

For the less adventurous, enjoy a barista made coffee while taking in the action and stunning views from our Sky Walk.

Mount Lofty Botanic Garden

Dates & Times: 7 days, open 8.30am
Location:  Upper entrance and car park: Mount Lofty Summit Rd, Crafers
Lower entrance and car park: Lampert Rd, off Piccadilly Rd, Crafers. The Main Lake and accessible lakeside trail is most easily accessed from this entrance.

Put on your walking shoes, pack your camera and get ready to explore! Whether you’re out for a leisurely stroll or a more vigorous trek, there’s always something new to discover at Mount Lofty Botanic Garden.

Meander along the multitude of paths that sprawl across 97 hectares – with a surprise awaiting you around every corner. Immerse yourself in the spectacular colour, rich aromas and amazing diversity.

Mintaro Maze

Dates & Times: Everyday over School Holidays 10am to 4pm
Location:  Jacka Rd, Mintaro, SA, 5415, Clare Valley

Mintaro Maze was designed by Michael Morris, with the original plan on paper being altered due to the design not fitting on the odd shaped block! So the maze took it shape as he went pegging it out by eye and using his imagination with help of his son Tyson.

Umpherston Sinkhole/Balumbul

Location:  Jubilee Highway East, Mount Gambier, Limestone Coast, South Australia, 5290

The beauty of the Umpherston Sinkhole/Balumbul has to be seen to be believed. Appreciate its size and depth from the viewing platforms at the top of the sinkhole, then walk down into the sinkhole, along the terraces and behind the hanging vines. A large undercover shelter with group seating and free barbecue is provided. The kiosk on site offers coffee, snacks, ice creams and souvenirs.

Splash Town – The Copper Coast

Location:  50 Mines Road, KADINA SA 5554

Splash Town – Copper Coast features racer slides, kids slide, large tipping bucket, water mushrooms and more located on the Moonta Bay foreshore in the Copper Coast. 

As part of the $1million Council received in Drought Funding under the Federal Government Drought Communities Programme – Extension,  4 shade sails were installed.   

The park is operated to ensure water volumes and chemical levels are maintained to a high standard.

Easter at the Zoo

Bounce in with the family, friends or your someone special to help us celebrate Australia’s very own native ‘Easter Bunny’ – the beloved but threatened Greater Bilby!

This adorable little marsupial is a symbol of hope for native wildlife and here at Zoos SA, we are working hard to protect this bouncing bandicoot from extinction.

Come along to spend the weekend surrounded by wildlife, join in the Easter egg hunt and get colouring to show your love for bilbies.

Easter at Woodhouse Adventure Park

It’s absolutely no eggsaggeration to say that the Easter long weekend is one of the most popular weekends here at Woodhouse. Picking your own fruit is a fun and unique experience that toddlers to grandparents will enjoy.

This is a late-night adventure for the weekend, but surely one not to be missed. With craziness which includes sharks, crocodiles, pirates and many many more ‘friends’, this will definitely amuse your little folk and let off some steam!
